We are currently on the brink of nuclear war. This was made clear to me through an internet meme detailing just that. The image will be posted below this message;

I also realize that even if the rumors of incoming nuclear war subside, we will all still perish when the sun explodes in 2 billion years. My one true hope is that we survive this inevitable conflict.
